Tampa Rural route looking for a change

Hi, I’m a full time rural carrier in Tampa, Florida.

My wife and I are looking for a move… we are not quite sure where… we would like to be within 30 minutes of a good sized city.

Tampa rural carriers are under a multi (7 or 8) station umbrella. All the carriers are on the same biding list regardless of station. It is easy to move up through the ranks with so much movement. I believe there are more than 150 routes under the umbrella.

All of the routes have LLV’s and there are no DPS flats in Tampa. No plans in the near future for DPS flats as well. There is growth in many areas of Tampa… my route has moved from a 42K to a 45K during the last count.

I’ll edit my post Monday evening with better details.

If you are interested in Tampa… let me know where your route is.

Valdosta, Georgia, which is about 20 miles from the Florida line. My route is a
44K and growing. There are 2 neighborhoods with new construction. 35.3 miles,
all paved roads, LLV and no businesses. 4 dismounts for cluster boxes (64) 733
regular boxes for a total of 797 families (approx.) . There are 25 Regular routes, most with LLVs Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like more information on my route or the Valdosta area.
